Welcome to cfcpowertools. 

We've gone open source in the hopes that others can help with the development of the tool. What's needed? Well, broader database support is needed. We need to add Oracle, DB2, Sybase, mySQL, PostgreSQL to name a few.

The app is well documented. The code is easy to read and easy to follow. Tom Schreck, Nolan Dubeau and I spent over two years working on this and it served us well for our project work. It began to take on a life of its own and we needed to deal with other pressures and demands on our time. 

Over the holidays in 2006 we debated about the best possible future for cfcpowertools. One just hates to kiss off this much work to the scrap heap. We learned a HUGE amount in the process of developing and testing the tools. We hope that others will be able to contribute to it and to grow as people and developers in the process as well.

Anyhow, I'll be committing the files after the new year and will be around to support questions and contribute to the app in a more scaled back way.
